Rick Sanchez + John Ensign's Affair = Good Times!

Rick Sanchez over at CNN had Senator John Ensign from Nevada on earlier today, for what he said was Ensign's first interview since all the details of his affair came out. Sanchez took the opportunity to be a reporter and ask some legitimate questions! Yay, media!

Best Pro-Gay Marriage Speech I've Ever Heard

State Senator Diane Savino delivered an amazing speech on the floor of the New York State Senate a few weeks ago that I just recently got around to watching. Her characterization of the absurdity of what is actually being debated here is spot-on, and I think she hits on every major important point in this debate.

Tired of Those Stupid "Scientists" Telling You About Earth?!

Do you have trouble with science? Is it too tricky? Boy, do I have a solution for you! No longer do you need to worry about elitist concepts like evolution, geology, or physics. If it's complicated, it's probably not true.

Kent Hovind is a gentleman who provides an alternative to all those claims from those "oh-so-fancy experts."

Among my favorite claims:
  • There is snow in the North and South Pole because a "ice meteor" dumped a bunch of superfreezing snow on Earth, and our magnetosphere dumped it all on the poles.
  • This superfreezing snow caught the mammoths unaware, and they were frozen solid while standing up, "and couldn't even fall down."
  • The mammoths weren't able to survive because they weren't designed to be in the cold, because they have long hair, and so do some animals in tropical regions.
  • Impressed by the sheer awesomeness of the Grand Canyon? Don't be. It was done in a couple weeks.

MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show tonight had Richard Cohen on tonight, the guy who heals gay men by cradling them and having them smash pillows with tennis rackets while yelling at their mothers. His group, the "International Healing Foundation," has made some big fans in Uganda among the people who are wanting to pass the "Kill the Gays" bill.

Ugandan "Kill the Gays" Law Inspired By American Nutjobs?!

Wait...This Uganda "Kill the Gays" Bill is the result of three anti-gay AMERICANS?! One of whom authored a book claiming that the Nazis were so nasty because Hitler was gay?! WTF, mate?!

The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC has been doing a stellar job covering the insanity of this law with her segment "Uganda Be Kidding Me," and in the clip below, reveals that the gentleman who proposed the bill in the Ugandan legislature AND the president are both explicitly involved with the nutsos on C Street, The Family?!

Kudos to Sweden for putting some pressure on the Ugandan government!
